Neil remains passionate about developing leading edge software and hardware applications for collecting, processing, viewing, and analyzing geo-spatially referenced digital and video imagery. Neil's educational background includes both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Agricultural Economics. Mr. Havermale has been the major funding source for the company's operations to date. Mr. Havermale resides in Australia.
Neil oversees the management team to ensure that the company operates in alignment with the vision.
Ken Burgess, Chief Technical Officer
Ken began his career at Hewlett-Packard in 1980 as an electrical computer design engineer. During his 13 years at HP, Ken worked on many projects doing hardware, firmware, and software design. Ken left HP in 1993 to start a software company providing analytical software tools to scientists and engineers.
In 1995, Ken and Neil Havermale founded the roots of what eventually became Red Hen Systems, Inc. Ken has since served as the CTO and director of Research and Development. Ken holds several patents in the fields of computer user interface and geospatial videography and photography. He received his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and a B. S. degree in Physics from the University of Nebraska.
Ken directs all hardware and software research, design and production.
Tanya Alsip, Chief Operations Officer
Tanya has been with Red Hen Systems since July 2007. As the newest member of the management team, she brings with her 10 years of experience in banking and finance along with a working knowledge of marketing and business development. She has also spent many years working and serving as a member of the Board of Directors for numerous non-profit organizations. Tanya holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Colorado State University and is currently working on her MBA.
Tanya oversees all company expenditures, accounting, finance, office management, human resources and some production and sales management.
