The VMS-333 is our latest GPS encoder-decoder used for geo-tagging video. It has all the great features of our VMS-300 with the added capability of Bluetooth connectivity and expanded audio output. Improved portability makes it even easier to collect geo-tagged path video and audio from any mobile platform whether it be air, sea, or land.

Details:

Paired with a compatible hard drive or memory card based camcorder, the video is geospatially geotagged and can be placed on a map. The 'path' of the video can then be reviewed, analyzed, and acted upon using Red Hen's proprietary software GeoVideo for ArcGIS, MediaMapper 5.3 or MediaMapper Server. The user can click on the path to start video playback at that location, view an image, open a file, or listen to sounds recorded there. Multiple map layers can be overlaid on the map, allowing a comprehensive visual analysis of the location where video was recorded.
