Red Hen customers who are trained by Authorized Red Hen trainers have an advantage, they are more successful in their data collection missions, yielding relevant, quality data for their maps. Additionally, they are better able to quickly transform their data into a usable product for sharing and decision-making.
Red Hen Systems offers affordable training for all of our products either at our location or at the customer's site.
We strive to provide customers with hands-on experience using Red Hen products so they can confidently use them in the field and find the information they need in the User Guide. Because people learn in different ways, we use a “listen-watch-do” approach with our training classes:
- Listen to a brief story by the instructor
- Watch a demo by the instructor that illustrates the concepts in the story
- Perform hands-on activities with the software
This three-step process is repeated over and over, giving participants a chance to learn and practice in easy-to-grasp “chunks.” Each training session is customized to the customer's needs and application, no matter the level of skill. By learning to use the software in the “safe” environment of a classroom, customers have the opportunity to make lots of mistakes without fear of damaging anything. Plus they get the added benefit of an instructor who can answer their questions and hear input from other participants with different and valuable experiences. When the training session is completed, the customer will be able to efficiently collect and process data, and create quality multimedia maps for their projects.

Come train with Red Hen Systems and extend your stay to experience the beautiful city of Fort Collins and all Northern Colorado has to offer.
Located against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Fort Collins offers an array of benefits that can make training with Red Hen even more exceptional. This destination location can complement your company’s training, offering low humidity and over 300 days of sunshine each year.
Come see why Forbes rated Fort Collins as #2 for the Best Places for Businesses and Careers and Money Magazine voted it “Best City to Live” in 2006 and the second best city in 2008. This award is not hard to believe when you look around the city that Red Hen Systems calls home. Practically every new road has a bike lane, but if you don’t bring your own bike, don’t worry. The city offers a bike rental program in which bikes can be rented for up to one week at no charge.
Other recreational activities that surround Fort Collins include hiking, whitewater rafting, biking, boating, golfing and skiing/snowboarding at one of our world-class resorts (six within 100 miles). If that isn’t enough, Fort Collins has four microbreweries, a beautiful University campus, and a historic Old Town comprised of more than two dozen unique restaurants.
This diverse city encompasses so many activities, no wonder it has earned it the nickname “Fort Fun.”
